- After a few minutes, turn off the first switch and turn on the second switch.
- Enter the room.
Now, here’s what you’ll find:
- The bulb that is on corresponds to the switch you left on.
- The bulb that is off and warm corresponds to the switch you turned on and then off.
- The bulb that is off and cold corresponds to the switch you never touched.
