The clock chimes 5 times in 4 s. It means it chimes for 5/4 times every second.
Hence in 10 seconds it will chime for (10 x 5 ) divided by 4 = 50/4 = (12 + 1/2) times.
But as it cannot chime for 1/2 times, hence the answer = 12 times.
